The Belt Room is named for the Belt Family which includes a long line of
talented farmers and ranchers. They sowed the land and fed their families by
realizing and using the richness in the soil. They grew tomatoes and
watermelons and raised livestock and never denied food or work to anyone
willing to put in a hard day's work or just needed a helping hand. William
Arthur Belt, the patriarch of the Belt family, passed this rich heritage on to his
two sons, William Arthur II, and James Horace, and it continues on with the
current generation.
This room is light with its furnishings but rich with deep sage green which
adorn the walls and a queen canopy bed. The bathroom in this room is
stunning with the marble vessel sink, dark wood vanity console, romantic
wallpaper and features a whirlpool tub.
